Cerri is an experienced senior leader, having worked as Assistant Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and Head of School for a number of years. She also has teaching experience in Early Years, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two and is a maths specialist teacher.
In her current role as Teaching and Learning Lead for Weaver Trust, Cerri is responsible for the quality of teaching and learning across the Trust, mentoring and coaching staff to ensure that the children receive the very best quality of education. She also works with leaders across the Trust to identify strengths and areas for development, supporting them in formulating strategic development plans. Cerri delivers CPD across the schools and has worked with colleagues to develop training packages for Early Career Teachers.
Cerri has also been a part of a team of colleagues who wrote and developed a sequential and ambitious curriculum. The curriculum was a focal point of a recent ‘outstanding’ OFSTED report:
‘The curriculum is extremely well designed and implemented fully by the staff. The order in which pupils learn new knowledge issues crystal clear.’
